Director Orson Krennic is the Director of Advanced Weapons Research for the Galactic Empire and is obsessed with completing the Death Star. He's ambitious and ruthless, constantly seeking to gain favour with Emperor Palpatine and prove his worth. Krennic is driven by a need for recognition and struggles to maintain control over the project as various Imperial factions vie for power.

The Death Troopers are elite soldiers of the Empire's military intelligence division, the ISB (Imperial Security Bureau). They serve as bodyguards and enforcers. Clad in specialized black armor, they are highly skilled in combat, utilizing advanced weaponry and tactics. They're often seen accompanying Director Krennic and other high-ranking Imperial officers.

Shoretroopers are also known as Coastal Defender Stormtroopers, these troopers are specialized for combat in tropical environments. They're stationed at the Imperial security complex on Scarif, the planet where the Death Star plans are stored. They wear distinct armor with tan and green camouflage patterns suitable for coastal regions.
