WHAT IS SHIVER?
SHIVER is a tabletop roleplaying game that you bring your favourite scary movies, spooky tv shows, and horror stories to life. Ever wanted to play through the plot of your favourite film on the tabletop? Or wanted to make sequels, prequels and original stories in the worlds of pop culture you love? SHIVER lets you play that!
SHIVER is setting neutral so you can play any story, anytime, and as anyone. Want to play a game of teens in survival mode against a zombie horde? Kids on Bikes who dread exploring a haunted house on Halloween night? Or perhaps a medieval monster hunter looking for a werewolf, vampire or mage? SHIVER can help you deliver stories and characters for anything from cult pulp classics to Cthulhu fuelled eldritch mysteries.
SHIVER is easy to learn, fast to play and immerses you in chaotic and dark magic filled stories. SHIVER’s symbolic dice keep you immersed in the story as well as cutting out pesky arithmetic for visual aids. Character creation is quick and easy with a simple skill point and ability system that get you into the story and game fast.
SHIVER is perfect for creating your one shots or short stories between main campaigns. You can also create epic long stories by tying your one-shot stories together using rules for sequels.
SHIVER is inspired by many great bits of pop culture which we really wanted to play on the table including:

What can I order?
Most items on our website can be ordered to your home. Please note that all of our event tickets are e-tickets only!
Can I just pick it up from your shop?
Yes! Please make sure you select the "I would like to collect my order in store" option during the checkout. You can see our opening hours and shop location on our contact page!
How much does it cost?
It is £7.50 for parcels up to 10kg.
Collecting your order from our shop is free!
When will my order arrive?
The majority of our parcels are shipped with a two-day tracked service by Royal Mail (Tracked 48). They are usually picked up the day after you've placed the order.
Please note: We no longer deliver to Northern Ireland.
Why have your prices gone up?
Most couriers have raised their prices at the beginning of the year which made our deliveries more expensive.
I'm not in the UK, can I order from you anyway?
Sorry, for now we are not offering deliveries outside the UK as the delivery charges are astronomical. If there's something you can't find elsewhere, we may be able to do a custom quote for you. Please get in touch.Returns
If you are not completely satisfied with your order, we guarantee to exchange any goods or refund the cost of the item, provided you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.
Before returning unsatisfactory goods please contact us for a returns number.
PLEASE NOTE: Eclectic Games is not responsible for costs incurred in supplying or returning correctly supplied and undamaged goods, and we reserve the right to charge a handling fee of up to 25% of the value of the goods. We recommend that returned items are sent by Recorded Delivery (or an alternative trackable delivery option), as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit. In the case of wrongly supplied or damaged goods we will refund your postage costs.
Eclectic Games reserves the right to alter or amend the specifications and/or prices of the products offered for sale, or withdraw them completely without prior notice.
