Special EventsUnless otherwise stated, for weekend events doors open at 10am and play begins at 11am. Saturday 11/05/13: Cardfight!! Vanguard Team League QualifierOur qualifier for the Cardfight!! Vanguard Team League 2013! Players will compete in teams of 3 in a tournament where the top 2 teams will get an invitation to the National level event! Players should bring a constructed deck, and if you don't have a team don't worry! We will match you up with a team that's looking for a player before the tournament starts! If you are looking for either an additional member or to join a team, please arrive as early as possible! Entry is £5 per player, doors open at 10am for an 11am start! Sunday 12/05/13: Yu-Gi-Oh! Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy Sneak Peek and TournamentThe day will begin with our sneak peek for the Lord of the Tachyon Galaxy set, due out on Friday 17th Each player will recieve 5 boosters from the new set as well as an exclusive promo card, and there will be playmats available for selected lucky players! Players may build decks from their boosters and play small casual games against each other! Entry to the Sneak Peek is £18, doors open at 10am for a prompt 11am start. This will finish at approximately 12.30pm From approximately 12.30 we will begin the usual monthly competitive tournament, entry to this is £5. Saturday 18/05/13: Open Boardgames Weekend - Day 1Day one of our mega boardgaming weekend we will be focussing on shorter games, like Carcassonne, Dixit and Dobble! It's the perfect day for new players and families to drop in and try out something new, and as always the shop staff and regulars will be able to help you out with rules if you need it! Sunday 19/05/13: Open Boardgames Weekend - Day 2Day two of our mega boardgaming weekend we will be focussing on longer games, like Agricola, Eclipse, and Civilization!It's the perfect day to come down and play games that are too long for the Monday and Friday night sessions, but if you want to pop in to try something shorter you are of course welcome as always! Saturday 25/05/13: Magic: the Gathering Dragon's Maze Game DayAs always we're running game day for the recently released Dragon's Maze set for Magic: the Gathering! This is a Standard Constructed tournament, all players will recieve a full-art promo card from the set, the top 8 will recieve a full-art foil promo card, and the winner will recieve a playmat! We will also be including booster pack prize support as normal. Doors open at 10am for an 11am start, and entry is £5 per player Sunday 26/05/13: Cardfight!! Vanguard tournament Come and play in this casual style tournament that will offer an excellent play experience for new and established players alike!
